AJPF kicked off in 2009 with one mission: bring Ambon back to life after the late-90s conflicts—through the universal language of music. The “Plus” says it all: jazz vibes fused with hip-hop, R&B, soul, world beats, and gospel. Over the years, it’s been more than just a fest—think ASEAN workshops, culture-crossing collabs, and iconic sets from Orient Express (US Navy), Sandy Sandhoro, Saykoji, Suave, Sunnie Paxson, and so many more.
